On the 3rd. April 2007, I've experienced of driving almost 165 miles (266 km) from Bury, Lancashire to a friend home in Bedford near London. With this gadget, a "navigator" (brand name Tomtom) fixed to the cigarette plug of the car. First switch on the gadget, then we just provide addresses and all required informations of the house/places (postcodes etc.) on it, then you will be automatically instructed to follow the instructions through voices and viewing a small LCD screen. On the screen, it will shows digital maps routes with distances and time expectation of reaching the destinations.You will be guided through by the shortest and the fastest routes as possible, normally using Motorways....very amazing? If you make mistakes, you will be warned to turn around when possible....and will be informed of anythings ahead such as junctions, traffic lights, roundabouts etc.....You'll be guided to take which roads, which turns and so on. Very surprisingly, I have been navigated and reached right in front of my friend house in Queens Park, Bedford. Aha...to theirs surprise also, old friend like me staying more than 6,500 miles (10,400 km) away in Malaysia could suddenly appeared right on theirs' doorstep! In Malaysia, when this will be expected in the markets? Actually....we are left far behind in this GPS or GPRS technologies and what so ever... I think it's a good business to venture here also....
My wife said, "kalau boleh pakai kat Malaysia, kita beli satu senang nak pi makan kenduri..." hahaha.Remember: Malaysian driving licence is valid for 1 year only. UK driving licence valid until your age reach up to 70 years without renewal, apply & pay once only.
